Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Ms. Amy Essig has been named Chief Executive Officer. Amy has been with Farallon since 2002, and a Member since 2008. Farallon Co-Founders Peter Jewett and Clifford Schmitt will continue to provide technical expertise to clients and will transition into a leadership structure supported by a Board of Directors as Amy serves in the Chief Executive Officer role.

Amy has been instrumental in strengthening Farallon’s position as a provider of diverse superior-quality environmental consulting services, building collaborative relationships with Farallon’s clients, and directing strategic business planning and development efforts. Her industry experience includes stakeholder and regulatory negotiation, and management of technically complex multimillion‑dollar projects. Amy’s rich background has cultivated a deep understanding of the technical and business issues clients face.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Washington State University, and completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business.
