Services Utilized

The walk-through and inventory identified several aboveground storage tanks that interconnect via piping throughout the five-building complex for the supply of fuel to emergency generators, along with a potential direct pathway to Lake Union via storm water infrastructure. Farallon assisted the facility operators in bringing the facility into compliance with provisions of Part 112 of Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Farallon’s involvement included preparing an SPCC Plan, designing a facility inspection and monitoring program to function in conjunction with ongoing compliance activities, and educating facility personnel on spill response and training requirements.
