Over the past several years, three exceptional summer interns, Drew, Angie, and Ben, have transitioned from short-term internships to full-time roles at Farallon. Each brought curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to their projects, impressing mentors and colleagues alike. Their contributions ranged from supporting site investigations and environmental assessments to assisting with data analysis and restoration planning, giving them hands-on experience in real-world environmental consulting.

Ben
"My internship with Farallon was a great experience and supplemented what I was learning in school with real-world applications. I was thrilled to return following graduation to begin my career as a geologist."

Drew
"The staff that I met during my internship at Farallon were a major factor in choosing to come back full-time. They showed immediate support for my learning and success as an environmental scientist."

Angie
"My internship with Farallon allowed me to experience a career as an environmental scientist for a summer, which ultimately lead to me deciding to pursue a career in environmental consulting."

At Farallon, we view internships as a win-win opportunity: students gain meaningful professional experience and mentorship, while our team benefits from fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and energy. We are proud to invest in future talent and celebrate Drew, Angie, and Ben as examples of how summer internships can launch successful careers.  Their growth underscores the value of nurturing the future generation of environmental professionals.
