Senior Environmental Scientist Ms. Lori Pettegrew is the newest addition to Farallon’s Oakland, California office. Lori has more than 25 years of experience with regulatory compliance, stormwater program management and implementation, and waste discharge permitting. Her regulatory compliance experience in California includes an extensive history of successful negotiation with California Regional Water Quality Control Boards on behalf of clients to implement National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and comply with waste discharge requirements.
Lori also assists clients with conducting environmental compliance audits and evaluating liabilities and costs associated with waste disposal alternatives. She has assisted municipalities in implementing stormwater programs to comply with the San Francisco Bay Region Municipal Regional Permit, and has supported development of Phase II stormwater programs for California clients.
Lori has a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation of Resource Studies/Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Farallon’s California clients will benefit from Lori’s experience in stormwater program management and her extensive knowledge of NPDES permits and waste discharge regulations.
