Farallon cares for our communities, at the holidays and every day. In the spirit of supporting our local communities Farallon donates to charities chosen by employees in all eight of our offices and by our clients in lieu of sending holiday cards. For example, our Portland office chose CASA, a group supporting foster children; our Oakland office supports the Alameda County Community Food Bank; and our Bellingham office nominated the Brigid Collins Family Support Center. This year, Farallon gave funds and volunteer time to these and many other community organizations.
In keeping with our commitment to community support, this year more than 50% of our employees participated in the United Way holiday fundraising campaign, with an additional company donation from all of us at Farallon. We are committed to ending hunger, preventing homelessness, and caring for the children in our communities. At Farallon, we understand that the health of our neighbors is just as important as the health of our environment.
