As an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Farallon Staff Geologist Jerome Chen takes action when military duty calls him to serve, responding to releases of hazardous chemicals in the waterways of the Pacific Northwest. Farallon actively supports its military employees, and Jerome has appreciated the firm's flexibility in balancing his U.S. Coast Guard obligations with his work at Farallon. Thanks to Jerome’s nomination, the National Chair for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve forces presented Farallon with a Patriotic Employer award recognizing Jerome’s Manager Jeff Kaspar and the firm for supporting active military employees. Farallon is proud to employ and support U.S. military personnel, and sincerely thanks Jerome and other active and veteran service men and women for serving our country.
