Farallon’s ongoing efforts to manage wastewater at the BNSF Railway Company Wastewater Treatment Plant have resulted in BNSF’s receiving the King County Industrial Waste Program Commitment-to-Compliance Award. This prestigious award, presented to only six companies throughout King County, was earned by meeting or exceeding wastewater discharge permit requirements for 5 consecutive years. Farallon’s Tom Long, Engineering Technician, and Ryan Hibbs, Project Scientist, have been the wastewater treatment plant operators at the BNSF plant during that time, with support from other Farallon staff.
