Bulk Fuel Storage Facility Audits

Bulk Fuel Storage Facility Audits

Farallon completed a compliance audit and facility upgrade for bulk fuel storage facilities in Alaska with ASTs and USTs. The facility audit addressed compliance with state and federal regulations for secondary containment; Spill Protection, Control, and Countermeasure Plans; stormwater control and reporting requirements; and inventory records. Farallon reviewed existing reports and documentation, conducted a site inspection, and calculated secondary containment capacities to develop recommendations and modifications where necessary to meet regulatory requirements. Farallon met with both state and federal regulators to negotiate a schedule for compliance with AST and UST regulations to avoid fines.
