Fun Facts

A longtime competitive rower, Rob starts most days seeking harmony, balance, and rhythm in a racing shell on Seattle’s interconnected waterways. He also dabbles in marathon canoe racing and has competed in various multisport relay races. Rob’s interest in geology and volcanoes developed during childhood, when his family vacationed nearly every summer in Oregon’s Central Cascade Range. He and his wife and two adult children continue this tradition at the rustic log cabin Rob’s great-grandfather built.
