Russell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Portland State University and is a registered Washington State Engineer in Training. As part of a wastewater reduction project for the Oregon Health Sciences University Center for Health and Healing, he helped design a system to reduce total dissolved solids in cooling tower water. He also has been involved in projects with Engineers Without Borders. Russell’s work for clients includes construction and system design and installation support for remediation projects.
Russell spends his free time enjoying the many recreational opportunities of the Northwest. He is an avid skier, hiker, Sounders fan, and home brewer. Russell also enjoys travel, and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored Machu Picchu, attended school in Italy (for one day while in the third grade so his family could sightsee), sailed the Mediterranean from Turkey, and recently made his first trip into Canada.
