Dan has more than 29 years of experience implementing innovative strategies in the environmental consulting and Brownfield redevelopment fields. He has successfully managed projects across the United States and internationally for a diverse group of clients ranging from rural ranching families to Fortune 500 conglomerates. Dan managed the environmental component of the Brownfield redevelopment at the Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon, which received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Phoenix Award. He has built a unique skill set based on hands-on fieldwork, outside-the-box problem solving, and regulatory negotiation involving city, state, federal, tribal, and provincial governments. Dan specializes in providing interpretation between highly technical engineers, geologists, and scientists and results-focused banking, development, and legal clients.

Fun Facts
Dan enjoys backcountry skiing, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and off-trail hiking. He and his wife Dianne have two sons, one a college freshman at Oregon State University and the other a high school sophomore in Bend. In addition to coaching his sons in lacrosse, baseball, football, basketball, and skiing, Dan is an avid landscape and industrial photographer, an occasional potter, and has recently taken up welding with the hope of building an aluminum boat or two in the coming years. He has traveled extensively in Russia, Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, and the United States.
