Farallon Announces Javan Ruark Promotion
Farallon is happy to announce that Mr. Javan Ruark has been promoted to Project Geologist. Javan has been with Farallon for over 4 years, working in the areas of soil, groundwater, and air sampling and data collection; monitoring well installation; historical data analysis; excavation activities; and report preparation for work sites throughout the state of Washington.
Javan also has experience in soil vapor sampling, including sub-slab air sample collection using summa canisters, and installation of Gore-Sorber modules into the soil subsurface for soil vapor collection to support evaluation of chlorinated solvents at former dry cleaning facilities. Remediation system experience involves installation and operation support for vapor extraction, sparging, and ozone injection systems, and includes providing construction observation for installation of sparging and extraction systems at bulk gasoline and former dry cleaning facilities. He also has performed sulfate injection activities at gasoline station sites for remediation of soil and groundwater.
