Ken Scott Promoted to Project Scientist

Farallon is pleased to announce that Mr. Ken Scott has been promoted to Project Scientist.  During his 8-year tenure with Farallon, Ken has made significant contributions to a wide array of projects at sites across the Pacific Northwest.  Among Ken’s specialty areas are erosion and sediment control and stormwater monitoring, including establishing and monitoring BMPs, preparing Discharge Monitoring Reports and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, and ensuring compliance with NPDES Municipal Stormwater Permit regulations.

Ken has considerable experience in subsurface investigations, soil analysis, and pollution source identification and delineation.  He is proficient at performing construction observation, drilling and well installation, excavation, UST and AST assessment, and water quality monitoring and analysis.

Ken’s 15 years of professional experience in environmental projects and support services throughout the western United States also entails biology, chemistry, geology, hydrogeology, and soil science projects; wetland delineation; stream analysis; tidal studies; and vegetation and habitat assessment.  He has conducted project work for major petroleum and gas companies, large manufacturing firms, quarries, railroads, and federal, state, and municipal government agencies.
