Donald M. Lance Joins Farallon

Farallon is very pleased to introduce Mr. Donald M. Lance, L.G., L.H.G., as Senior Geologist in Farallon’s Issaquah, Washington office.  Don brings over 25 years of experience and accomplishment as an environmental Geologist and Project Manager.  Don holds both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology from Washington State University.  As a Washington State-Licensed Geologist and Hydrogeologist and a Registered/Professional Geologist in several additional western states, Don has successfully supported and managed technically complex, multi-disciplinary investigation and cleanup projects for a diverse client base.  He has managed projects up to $1.5 million in value, and individual portfolios up to $5.5 million in value.

Don’s areas of expertise include remedial investigations and feasibility studies; pilot testing, data evaluation, and remedial system conceptual design; treatment system installation, performance monitoring, and O&M; site closure and regulatory settlement negotiations; and stormwater permitting, performance evaluation, and BMP enhancement.  He also has a proficient working knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, MTCA, dangerous waste, and solid waste regulations.  In his role with Farallon, Don currently is managing projects involving site characterization and remedial investigation at various Northwest sites.
