Mr. Johnson’s graduate coursework included hydraulic engineering design, advanced hydrology, hazardous waste engineering, water/wastewater design, natural treatment systems, environmental engineering, and geotechnical engineering. He has worked on projects dealing with stormwater management, water treatment, hydrology, permitting, environmental monitoring, hydraulic design, hazardous waste engineering, and construction management. He also has experience as a researcher for the Washington State University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, working on the Columbia River Basin Water Supply Investment Plan project conducted for Ecology. As part of Farallon’s Engineering Group, Mr. Johnson provides system support for remedial actions and participates in the engineering aspects of other environmental projects at facilities throughout the state of Washington.
When Mr. Johnson is not working, he enjoys following local college and professional sports teams, including the WSU Cougars and Seattle Seahawks, spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and fishing in the Pacific Northwest, visiting the local farmers market, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering with the local chapter of Engineers Without Borders.
