Farallon Welcomes David Johnson

David E. Johnson, E.I.T, has joined Farallon as a Staff Engineer.  David is a recent graduate of Washington State University with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University and is a registered Engineer-in-Training in the state of Washington.  His graduate coursework included hydraulic engineering design, advanced hydrology, hazardous waste engineering, water/wastewater design, natural treatment systems, environmental engineering, and geotechnical engineering.

David has worked on projects dealing with stormwater management, water treatment, hydrology, permitting, environmental monitoring, hydraulic design, hazardous waste engineering, and construction management.  He also has experience as a researcher for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Washington State University, working on the Columbia River Basin Water Supply Investment Plan project conducted for the Washington State Department of Ecology.  In that role, David helped to develop municipal and county population estimates to be used for water demand estimates for the year 2030.  As part of Farallon’s Engineering Group, David provides system support for remedial actions, and participates in the engineering and design aspects of other environmental projects at facilities throughout the state of Washington.
