Jon Peterson Becomes Licensed Geologist

Farallon acknowledges Staff Geologist Mr. Jonathan Peterson for attaining the professional status of Licensed Geologist in Washington State. Jon recently passed the Association of State Boards of Geology National Geology examination and has fulfilled all educational and professional geological practice requirements.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington and a Master of Science degree in Geology from Western Washington University.
As a Staff Geologist with Farallon for the past 4 years, Jon has been involved in the installation, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems for a wide array of projects. In addition, he conducts soil and groundwater sampling, creates detailed boring logs, and provides project support for environmental site assessments at properties across the state of Washington. As a Washington State-registered UST Site Assessor, Jon also provides excavation oversight for removal of USTs and contaminated soil.
