Tina Huff Reappointed to Issaquah River and Streams Board

Tina Huff has been reappointed by Issaquah Mayor Ava Frisinger for another term on the City of Issaquah River and Streams Board.  Tina’s current 2-year term as an Alternate continues her service on this board that began in 2006.  The River and Streams Board exists to protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of Issaquah waterways, and to protect the fish, birds, and mammals that depend on these aquatic environments.  Board members advise the Mayor and Issaquah City Council of actions necessary to achieve these ends.  Recent topics discussed by the board include the Shoreline Master Program, Critical Area regulations, the Critical Aquifer Recharge Area Ordinance, and stormwater management standards.

Tina is Farallon’s Associate Regulatory Specialist and manages the firm’s due diligence program.  Additional involvement with the City of Issaquah has included Tina’s coordination and preparation of the City’s Spill Contingency Management Plan to provide City personnel with emergency spill response guidance.  Tina also collaborated with City of Issaquah Public Works Engineering to introduce and cooperatively implement Critical Aquifer Recharge Area standards and guidelines at area businesses.
