Tina Huff, Farallon’s Associate Regulatory Specialist, has been recognized by her peers in the due diligence community by being elected to the Executive Committee of commonground, an award-winning business social network for environmental and commercial real estate professionals.  Since its 2008 launch by Environmental Data Resources, Inc., a provider of real estate environmental risk information, the commonground site has grown to offer more than 1,000 blogs and 15,000 posts and comments.  Topics addressed include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, ASTM International standards, and other environmental services.  The site enables its 6,000+ members, who are involved in various aspects of environmental and commercial real estate property transactions, to ask and answer questions, contribute information and opinions, and network with industry experts.

As one of the three newly elected members, Tina will take part in committee meeting discussions to help expand and improve the commonground site.  She already serves as a frequent commonground "Duly Diligent" blog contributor, providing comment and clarification on a variety of relevant due diligence topics.  Her industry experience and longtime involvement as an active member of the ASTM International Committee on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action were additional reasons for Tina’s selection to the committee.  Tina welcomes this opportunity to give back to the industry by collaborating with other commonground committee members to identify and implement improvements to the site and extend its resources to a wider audience.
