Mrs. Erickson-Mulanax has over 2 years of professional experience in various aspects of environmental work and holds a Master of Science degree in Geology.  Mrs. Erickson-Mulanax has conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II investigations; soil sampling; well installations using air rotary, hollow-stem auger, and direct-push drilling methods; groundwater and surface water monitoring and sampling; sub-slab soil gas sampling; indoor and ambient air sampling; and remedial construction observation for projects in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska.  Additional experience includes preparing groundwater performance monitoring reports, Phase I ESA and Phase II investigation reports, and assisting with EPA 104(e) response and litigation support projects.
Mrs. Erickson-Mulanax enjoys various outdoor activities, including hiking, running, and geocaching.  She also plays adult indoor soccer twice a week on co-ed and women’s teams.  Other hobbies include playing board and video games. Mrs. Erickson-Mulanax is a member of the Geological Society of America and a published author.  Her paper titled “Structural and Kinematic Analysis of the Shagawa Lake Shear Zone, Superior Province, Northern Minnesota:  Implications for the Role of Vertical Versus Horizontal Tectonics in the Archean” appeared in the December 2010 issue of the Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences.
