Akos Fekete Joins Farallon
Farallon is happy to announce that Mr. Akos Fekete, L.G., has joined the firm as Senior Geologist. Akos is an experienced Project Manager, having worked in various aspects of the environmental consulting industry for over 26 years. He graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany and earned a Master of Science degree in Soil Science at Rutgers University. A Licensed Geologist, Akos has served as Project Manager for rapid turnaround projects as well as complex, multi-year programs.
Akos’ project experience includes site investigation and closure, environmental compliance audits, environmental management systems, solid and hazardous waste management, hydrogeologic investigations, and UST closure and assessment. He also has prepared RI/FS and RCRA Facility Investigation and Corrective Measures Study work plans and reports and has conducted Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments. Regulatory experience involves preparation of regulatory compliance handbooks and plans such as Oil Spill Response Plans, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. Akos is a welcome addition to Farallon’s Geology Group, where his experience, expertise, and commitment to exceptional client service will be applied to a variety of projects, including managing site characterization and cleanup activities and supporting stormwater and regulatory compliance efforts.
