Farallon Attends StormCon 2009

Farallon attended StormCon 2009, the world’s largest stormwater pollution prevention conference, which brought together the nation’s leading industry experts to discuss the current state of stormwater management. The curriculum for this year’s conference covered best management practices case studies, low-impact development, water quality monitoring, stormwater program management, source control, and advanced research topics, including advancements in computer modeling of storm events. Conference highlights included an interactive Q & A panel with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stormwater policymakers, presentation of advancements in calculations of Total Maximum Daily Loads, implementation of low-impact development for commercial projects, and discussion of the future of municipal stormwater Phase II permits throughout the United States.

Farallon’s attendance at StormCon 2009 provided an increased awareness of industry direction and developments and equipped Farallon to better serve client stormwater needs in this changing environment. Farallon offers a range of stormwater services that include:
