Ms. Mulhern is a Washington State-Licensed Geologist with over 11 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry that includes removal actions, subsurface investigations, and remedial actions at sites affected by a range of contaminants. She has conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, site inspections in support of environmental due diligence, and site inspections and assessments for compliance with environmental best management practices and regulations. Ms. Mulhern’s management experience involves soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, monitoring well installation and oversight, stormwater monitoring, and air emissions monitoring. Ms. Mulhern also has managed projects involving subsurface investigation and ongoing remedial action at sites under Agreed Orders and Consent Decrees. She has conducted remedial feasibility testing, including aquifer testing, soil vapor extraction, and air sparge pilot testing, and has been involved in remediation system construction, installation, operation and maintenance, and oversight. Project reporting experience encompasses preparation of Work Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, various monitoring plans, and final closure plans for a variety of MTCA sites under Agreed Orders and Consent Decrees with Ecology. In addition, Ms. Mulhern routinely conducts and manages data QA/QC and validation procedures in accordance with Ecology requirements for data submittal.
Ms. Mulhern enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter playing on the beach and searching for agates near their home in the San Juan Islands. Other interests include gardening, skiing, hiking, running, fishing, and tending to her pet chickens.
