Mr. Caputo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry with a minor in Environmental Science and has 5 years of experience in the environmental field service industry. Included in Mr. Caputo’s professional experience is field investigation, implementation of environmental programs, data analysis, and technical report preparation. Specific areas of expertise entail characterization of in-situ contaminant plumes using a Membrane Interface Probe, and interpretation of soil characteristics, contaminant mass, and contaminant flow. Mr. Caputo also has provided support for injection projects, soil sampling, and equipment design, and has managed groundwater monitoring teams at Superfund sites, oil refineries and terminals, industrial sites, gasoline service stations, landfills, and chemical facilities. As Project Chemist for Farallon, Mr. Caputo manages projects involving site characterization, soil and groundwater monitoring and sampling, and contaminant remediation at sites across the Pacific Northwest.
