Mr. McManus is a Senior Design Engineer with over 31 years of experience in cleanup design, remediation program management, cleanup construction management, work plan development, remediation engineering, environmental investigation, and site assessment. He has in-depth experience in spill response and cleanup construction operations management, including direct responsibility for managing a large response action at a shoreline facility, and directing multi-million-dollar Superfund site cleanup programs. He also has extensive experience in former landfill excavation and restoration designs, including the design for excavation and reclamation of six uncontrolled landfills involving segregation of hazardous and regulated materials. In addition, Mr. McManus has conducted and managed RI/FSs and remediation designs for soil, groundwater and facility cleanups, and has applied innovative technologies to large-scale remediation projects.
When Mr. McManus is not at his computer in the office, he can be found puttering on his Newport 33 sailboat, working on his 1964 MGB sports car, flying his paraglider above Tiger Mountain, or doing something with wife Karen and one or more of their five grown children.
